Hi Dave,

Looks like it was RAPTIVA ( they have it spelled wrong in this article )

IGN TV: You talked a lot about your battle with psoriasis. How did you manage to beat it?

CariDee: There is no cure. That’s what people don’t understand, there is no cure. I’ve found a medicine that just until this year got approved, and it’s been the biggest blessing in my life really. It’s called Rattiva, and it’s an injection. I give a shot to myself once a week. And it cleared my skin. And I’ve been clear for about eight months. This has been the best eight months of my whole life. Really, it’s just amazing.

I’m sure this makes Genentech very happy! www.raptiva.com

Happy Holidays to you too!

Lisa (age 39) says:

Raptiva injections? Well, I have had “other” injections for my psoriasis in the past and it only made my problem worse. And I also found out that if you stop your injections the problem worsens / spreads! Also: long-term injection treatments are not good on your organs. I have decided not to use any injections for my psoriasis. I guess will just have to suffer with it until they come out with something else! :(

I had used “Enbrel” injections in the past and
once I stoped it was and still night mare.
In 2 weeks after I stoped, my psorisis covered
95% of my body. I regret that one day when my doctor advise me to have this type of tretment.
